Victoria Falls Safari Lodge has completed upgrades to its 72 rooms, following an extensive three-month project costing US$1 million (R10,8m).
New developments include insect screens and sliding glass doors leading into the rooms. All rooms have private balconies with views of the bushveld.
The bathrooms have also been upgraded and bathtubs in the standard and deluxe rooms have been replaced with large, eco-friendly rain showers. In the lodge’s six suites, the bathrooms now have large free-standing bathtubs and rain showers.
Facilities in the rooms include digital safes, air-conditioning, extra-length beds, mosquito nets and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
