Mantis Owners Collection launched by Mantis

The Mantis Group has launched a separate division, Mantis Owners Collection.

It will comprise 28 privately owned properties around the world that the Collection rents to high-nett-worth individuals who want privacy and exclusivity.

Each villa has its own private chef and housekeeper.

Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles and Tanzania each have one property, there are three properties in Kenya and 15 in South Africa.

The Chobe Princess I, a houseboat on Botswana’s Chobe River, forms part of the Botswana and Namibia property.

Facilities on board include a fully equipped bar, dining room, Jacuzzi, outdoor seating area and powder room.

Chobe Princess I has five suites able to accommodate 10 guests. The honeymoon suite spans the top deck of the houseboat and offers a double bed, private deck, dressing table, and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet, hand basin, bidet and shaving points.

18 on Hillwood is a villa in Bishopscourt, Cape Town. Its five rooms can accommodate up to 10 guests and each room is north facing with a view of Table Mountain.

Facilities include a choice of two swimming pools, tennis courts, an outdoor porch with sun loungers, a gas barbecue and dining area, and lounge area with satellite TV.

Children are welcome at 18 on Hillwood.

Hoëveld House, in Sandton, Johannesburg, is one of the other properties in the Collection.

The property offers four rooms and can accommodate up to eight guests. Each room is individually styled. The main suite features his and hers bathrooms and dressing rooms, but each bedroom has a minibar, satellite television, DVD players, iPod docking stations, telephones, hairdryers, underfloor heating and heated towel rails.

Other facilities include a conference venue, restaurant, electronic safe in room, outdoor pool, secure parking, wedding facilities and WiFi.
